Finally got Likoon to start on the design of the theme... finallyyy... :D

we looked up many pictures on google and decided that we liked something like this:

There's a tree with countless leaves, and on one of the branches, 2 lovey dovey birds :D nice right?

We also felt inspired, and (upon searching google again) found:

It felt super meaningful. Its like we were two birds who came to make nest together in this tree of filled with God's graces.

We thought that it would be even more meaningful if we got down to making the design ourselves. So, with the help of some pics on google and koon's photoshop knowledge, we got down to putting one together. Koon made the branches and I helped to put the leaves together... Its not done yet, so this is just a sneak preview :D

Referring to my post on our selection of wedding colours.

I have been thinking of the theme so much... Royal Blue, Blush Pink, Ivory... and then? It always feels like something is missing... until an idea suddenly popped up in my mind... ROBOTS...

Koonsie & I went to visit quite a few hotels over the last few weeks... Here's a post to consolidate everything we have seen, asked, thought :) We currently have 48-51 tables on our guest list. It's an estimate. It's scary. We are trying to slash :(

Things we are looking out for:
Hotel/ Country Clubs/ Restaurants: We prefer hotel. For 面子's sake, esp when 30tables are relatives... For their comprehensive packages... Everything that we need will be there :P
Ceiling & Pillars: If financially possible, we'd like a ballroom with a high ceiling & pillarless. 
Koon: "the ceiling too low doesn't look very grand leh.." and I agree... 
Price: The wedding's in Jan 2015, so considering the upward trend of the banquet prices, we're looking at <$1000++ per table. We try!

Yea!! I've collected the wedding bands!!! (actually on the 11 Nov) It's absolutely gorgeous... So happy with our buy!! :)))

It happened on that same fateful day when koon's wallet bled much at the Wedding Fair..... After giving lots of money to Beautiful Love Wedding, we went for ramen dinner, before doing a little window shopping at Tampines Mall. I had suggested to go to Gold Heart to take a look if they have the Aiko Bands that we liked (refer to this post).
