I have been thinking of the theme so much... Royal Blue, Blush Pink, Ivory... and then? It always feels like something is missing... until an idea suddenly popped up in my mind... ROBOTS... Koonsie & I went to visit quite a few hotels over the last few weeks... Here's a post to consolidate everything we have seen, asked, thought :) We currently have 48-51 tables on our guest list. It's an estimate. It's scary. We are trying to slash :(
Things we are looking out for: Hotel/ Country Clubs/ Restaurants: We prefer hotel. For 面子's sake, esp when 30tables are relatives... For their comprehensive packages... Everything that we need will be there :P Ceiling & Pillars: If financially possible, we'd like a ballroom with a high ceiling & pillarless. Koon: "the ceiling too low doesn't look very grand leh.." and I agree... Price: The wedding's in Jan 2015, so considering the upward trend of the banquet prices, we're looking at <$1000++ per table.
